The manufacture of disposable, polypropylene medical Hollowware represents our core activity. The comprehensive range of Bowls, Trays, Kidney Dish Receivers, Gallipots and Jugs in their bulk, non-sterile format are packed and despatched for presentation directly into the controlled environment of a Clean Room for on-site processing.
Each piece of Hollowware can be supplied sterile in several choices of presentation many of which are delivered from stock. Individual packing with a single wrap assures the integrity of a sterile product at Ward or Clinical level with additional handling security afforded by double-wrapping as commonly demanded for Theatre use.
Ophthalmic Surgery Packs

Alongside our in-house production equipment DLS has extensive storage and distribution warehouse facilities. We have invested in IT to ensure that we can manage customer requirements efficiently and conveniently. Many customers value the time-saving and assured delivery provided by standing orders or value the additional flexibility of demand-led variable consignments afforded by call-off orders.
Distribution is managed in collaboration with a number of specialist distribution companies and our own transport where appropriate. This policy ensures that the delivery of product is not confined to a routine logistics schedule based upon geographical location.

Having our own machinery also provides for a responsive service to customers. Whereas the aim is to maintain a steady and well controlled production facility we are able to respond to urgent unforeseen customer requirements and pride ourselves on finding a practical solution to most problems
DLS Medical can provide a one stop shop for new product design and delivery. Using modern computer aided design software linked to sophisticated manufacturing equipment means that all stages of the design process are co- ordinated and managed together. DLS has developed a large number of bespoke products available to all customers. We are always keen to explore how we might develop our own products thereby removing the cost of development altogether
